000 bond that requires he live with his parents in Dayton.-
Athens County Prosecutor C. David Warren said. The group will be split in half with about 40 people appearing each day. Those 80 jurors will be whittled down to 12 after the end of jury selection and opening statements should begin Wednesday.
Prosecutors
followed by Hendrickson's lawyers
will then present their cases. Once both sides have called all their witnesses
they will give closing statements and the jury will decide on a verdict.
The jury should last about seven days and finish at the beginning of next week
according to records from an April 30 status hearing.
Prosecutors will attempt to prove Hendrickson is guilty of aggravated murder
which requires the defendant planned the murder in any way
Warren said. This case is not a death penalty case because the alleged murder was not committed with another felony.
