Sherman presented his president’s report at the Main Board Meeting, which focused on how Ohio University is investing in the student experience while still remaining financially stable.
“I'm just so excited,” said Maggie Nolan, a junior studying psychology.
During the Spring Semester, OU had the most students it has ever had on academic probation, Sherman said.

Janelle Coleman, a 1995 OU graduate and leader of diversity and inclusion and community engagement at American Electric Power, gave the undergraduate commencement speech Saturday.
“I just wanted my three years to be filled with safety and support, and I wanted to be respected on the campus I love,” Giah Harper, a freshman studying anthropology, said at the meeting.
