Ohio University graduate student Amy Thompson will spend the next academic year in Morocco after receiving a Fulbright grant to study and photograph the role of Muslim women in Moroccan society, the university announced last week.
Thompson, 34, who is studying photography, said she is eager to take advantage of the opportunity that has come with the prestigious award.
