If the thought of finding entertainment for dad seems difficult,
consider one of these options:
- The Ohio University club hockey team will play Illinois at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday at Bird Arena. Tickets are $4 for students and $6 for others.
- Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority is presenting a tool show in Baker University Center Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free, but the group is accepting donations for the Arthritis Foundation. In addition, Tim Carter, a nationally-syndicated home-improvement columnist, will be speaking at 2 p.m.
- The Ohio University Art Gallery in Seigfred Hall and Trisolini Gallery will feature photography exhibits from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Saturday.
- University Program Council is sponsoring a visit from the former Saturday Night Live writer Al Franken at Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium at 8 p.m. on Saturday night. Tickets are $6 for students and $8 for others.
- Coffeehouse Concert, which is hosted in The Front Room at Baker University Center, will be featuring Future Me and The Emergency beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday night.
- Urban Jazz Coalition and Athens Fusion Collective will play at a jazz festival sponsored by the Black Student Communication Caucus. The festival is from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday in Baker University Center Ballroom.
