Seniors look to regroup team in final home game

Barring an improbable run to the NCAA Championship, Ohio men's basketball is staring down the barrel of only the third 20-loss season in school history.

After the Bobcats (9-19 overall, 6-11 Mid-American Conference) hit rock bottom losing 77-49 to Buffalo, the team now must face Kent State, the MAC East leader, who arrives for Senior Day in The Convo.

It's just another game; it's another home game

Ohio guard Thomas Stephens said. One thing I'm going to miss is camaraderie as far as team-wise and being here but basketball is basketball.

Senior Day should help the Bobcats take their mind off the fact that Ohio will lose 20 games this season, although it is not the worst winning percentage or lowest win total in history.

People that follow that sort of thing are going to look at the records and say 'That wasn't a very good team

' O'Shea said. Sometimes you have to measure a team by its potential or what it had to work with; this was a group that was sort of disjointed with six new players.
