CLEVELAND - A woman is accused of shooting and killing her son in their home after a fight, police said.
Elizabeth Allen, 53, was in the city jail Wednesday after the early-morning shooting. Her son, 29-year-old Acie Allen III, died of a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the Cuyahoga County coroner's office.
David Allen said his brother was angry and threatened his mother. Acie Allen lived with his parents.
What she did was justifiable
he said.
City Prosecutor Anthony Jordan said his office will review the case and decide whether to charge Elizabeth Allen. He said it is premature to talk about possible charges or whether Elizabeth Allen was acting in self-defense. 17
