A reporter for The Post received an award for business writing from the Associated Press Society of Ohio Sunday.
Lindsey Nelson won third place in the best business writer category in the division for newspapers with a daily circulation of 8,000 to 12,999. Nelson covered the closing of T.S. Trim, an Athens County business, and reported on the local economy. Because of an editing error, Nelson's award was omitted from yesterday's story. Four other Post staff members also received awards.
Statewide, 76 newspapers submitted 3,451 entries in the contest.
