The Twenty-Something Party won the four executive positions for senior class council elections, which took place yesterday.
Micah Siegal is the new president, Nadine Wise is the vice president, Rob Schmidt is the treasurer and Pamela Radcliff is the secretary.
Wise said that the party received many questions from people today when they were in front of Baker Center. They discussed the senior class gift, specifically.
We're thinking something with the new Baker Center
like dedicating the steps in the name of the Class of 2005 or Court Street renovations. We thought that maybe redo some of the sidewalks on Court Street and people seemed to really like those ideas
Wise said.
They are looking forward to working with fellow classmates, Wise said, adding that a lot of people had ideas for commencement speakers.
We are definitely going to take all of their suggestions
and we are going to remember them in one year when we graduate
she said.
We got a lot of support today from people who had specific questions and we could tell that there are a lot of students who are going to work with us
so we are really looking forward to it she said.
