Following a sophomore season during which he led the Ohio baseball team in nearly every offensive category, designated hitter Anthony Gressick was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association All-America third team on Tuesday.
Despite recovering from an off-season arm surgery, Gressick, who paced Ohio during the 2004 season with a .377 batting average, 16 home runs, 45 runs batted in and 48 runs scored, was one of five Mid-American Conference players appointed to the first-, second-or third-team.
He had to work real hard
