Absentee ballots are available at the Athens County Board of Elections, 15 S. Court St.
The ballots are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The deadline to submit an absentee ballot for mailing to a home district is Saturday, Oct. 30 at noon. Ballots can be mailed to a voter's home county or submitted to the board of elections for processing.
Those filling out an absentee ballot must already be a registered voter outside Athens County and wish to vote in their home county. Any voter with questions can call the board at 592-3201.
