Six games into an eight-game road trip, Phil Oberlin and the rest of the Bobcats are ready to come home.

Ohio is on the road again this weekend to take on Eastern Michigan. The 'Cats are coming off a sweep last weekend at the hands of Lindenwood University.
Last week was a rough weekend for us Oberlin said. I think we have practiced well this week so far. We're working on things that broke down last week against Lindenwood.
Similar to Ohio (8-6), the Eagles are also struggling. On the year, they are 6-7 and have lost three of their last four games. Last year, the Bobcats beat Eastern Michigan four times by a combined score of 27-9.
They're getting better as the season goes on Ohio coach Dan Morris said. They've played some good hockey. We're not playing our best hockey
so any team presents a challenge for us right now.
The past two weekends, Ohio's defense has been shorthanded, with David Moyer and Justin Farmer both out with injuries. Chris Morford has been out all year because of shoulder surgery. Forwards Brandon Steffek and Jim Roach have been filling in on defense for the Bobcats.

so hopefully we can use him this weekend as a defenseman.
A strength early in the season for Ohio was the power play, scoring 18 goals in just eight games. Then, the Bobcats' power play went through a skid where it only scored one goal through four games while on the man-advantage. Ohio broke that skid last weekend, scoring three power-play goals.

but it really helps if we get a few power-play (goals).
