Ohio University's Muslim Student Association and the Islamic Center of Athens are hosting the Muslim Awareness Dinner at 5:30 p.m. today in the Baker University Center Ballroom.
OU President Roderick McDavis will give the keynote address and Savas Kaya, associate professor of electrical engineering and computer science, will speak. After showing a film about Muslim life, the association will provide dinner with food from many Muslim countries, including Indonesia and Turkey.
This event is supported by the International Student Union, Difficult Dialogues and several churches in the Athens area. It is free and open to the public.
