There are some things you don't learn about a college campus until you go there. One thing I've discovered about Ohio University is that, at times, it can be the most awkward place on the planet.
OU is large enough that you could see and meet new people every day if you wanted to, but it's also so close-knit that you wind up seeing a ton of people you know wherever you go. This is good when you discover you have classes with friends, but bad when the person you hooked up with last week is strolling towards you on College Green.
With that said, I have decided that Alden Library is the most awkward place on campus. The library is a dangerous area because everyone there is either already stressed or about to be stressed, depending on the time of night. It's a breeding ground for vulnerable students weakened by the anxiety of midterms or finals to run into each other and make strained small talk at Caf+
