Ohio will host the Ohio University Invitational this weekend, taking on Cleveland State and Western Illinois.
The Bobcats come into the weekend 4-5 after taking three of four games in last weekend’s Charles Southern Tournament.
Emily Wethington leads Ohio with a .400 average in 20 at-bats. Jordan Peden also has accumulated eight hits on the season and is batting .381.
Wethington also has pitched eight times this season. She has a 2-2 record and a 5.72 ERA. Melissa Bonner leads the team in ERA with 5.11.
Cleveland State comes into the game at 5-4, while Western Illinois stands at 2-7.
