The Athens County Sheriff’s Office has hired a new transport officer, according to a post from Sheriff Kelly’s Facebook Page.
Deputy Michael Burba of Glouster, 35, was recently hired for the position after being employed as a lieutenant for the past eight years with the Glouster Police Dept.
“Michael comes to my office highly recommended,” states Kelly’s post. “Michael placed first before my hiring board and I am pleased with his commitment and professionalism to his profession.”
