Ohio outlasted Temple during Wednesday night's "blackout" game at Peden Stadium.
Running back Donte Harden set an Ohio single-game record with 322 total yards, and the Bobcat defense stopped Owls' duo Bernard Pierce and Matt Brown from gaining valuable yardage en route to a 35-31 victory. Backup Temple quarterback Chris Coyer played admirably, but his efforts were not enough. Ohio is bowl eligible for the third straight year.
