Shame such a beautiful dedication to a wonderful, inspirational man such as Bill Toadvine was missed by all of his family. I’m at a loss as to why no one, including his wife Wendy Toadvine, was not contacted or informed prior, so that they could be in attendance.
His family stretches from Athens to Dayton with many siblings, cousins, children and grandchildren, all of them very disappointed by missing this.
Though I’m only writing to The Post to vent my frustration, a letter, I hope, will be written directly to the athletic director of Ohio University.
Bill Toadvine was my father-in-law, my teacher, the grandfather to my children, and he was one hell of a great man to say the least.
As I am very excited the bullpen is complete, I’m also very saddened the family missed out.
