Post Letter: Marching 110 alumni upset with coverage

Homecoming at OU has come and gone.  The largest alumni band in memory attended, marched and performed. There were nearly 700 band alumni. I am wondering where the pictures are of this magnificent group of people of all ages, people who came from many parts of the country and managed to get through the rigorous marching and dancing after all these years of ordinary life. I see no pictures in our local newspapers, and I am shocked. Pictures of the current band show up, but none of the remarkable alumni band.

I do know that thousands of pictures were taken.  I would think at least ONE would show up in the print version of The Athens News, The Messenger, or even The Post, and I am so angry I can hardly write. The band performances were in honor of the late Ron P. Socciarelli and this was the most important Homecoming in many years. What is wrong with you that not one picture of the band was deemed worth putting into the paper?  I’m disgusted.
