BedPost: Anal play: Products designed to promote painless 'back door' fun

My boyfriend and I have been together for a while now, and our sex life is pretty good, or at least I thought so. Recently he’s been asking a lot about anal sex, and I don’t know what to tell him. Why are boys pushing this on girls so much? Does it feel good or is it just a novel idea?

Let me “Empower, Educate, Entertain” you with an answer.

I say this because I went to a Pure Romance party last Wednesday. The football team lost, but I am positive there were some winners in Athens that night.

The company’s slogan, mentioned above, encourages women to take command of the bedroom with the use of toys, gels, yummy scents and lick-worthy flavors.

A few hot items at the party focused on making anal play easier. Lubricant is key for using the back door. Otherwise, the cavity is just too tight and too painful.

Extra tightness is part of the draw for men. The hole is yet another unexplored crevice on your body that offers newfound excitement. Don’t take offense. He is not bored, just excited to travel every inch of you. Even if it flops, it is something you guys tried together.

Plus, you know what they say: Give a little, take a little. Anal sex always reminds me of an episode of “Scrubs” in which a character lets her husband do “the thing that all guys want us to do but we swear we’d never do” to get a diamond tennis bracelet. Plus, Christmas is coming soon …

Pure Romance offers two lubricants especially for back-door play. One is called “Booty Eaze” and smells like sweet cherry pie. It is a gel formula and actually numbs the area for added comfort. Another is the “Pure Silk” lubricant. It is a silicone-based and super slick. No matter how long you play, the slippery formula will not rub away. Both products are great for seasoned vets and beginners.

Be careful with store-bought lubricants. Check the ingredients for alcohol, a common ingredient that eventually dries up the area, causing a need for more lubricant. Increasing dryness down there keeps customers coming back, which is great for companies but terrible on your wallet.

Get your supplies and give it a try. Anal may be sexier than you expect.
