Aiding Athens: Last Chance Corral

Last Chance Corral owner Victoria Goss has been saving horses since she was twelve after making a promise to a horse that she'd never let another horse suffer again. Since the 80's she's been taking in foals at the Last Chance Corral, giving them a fighting chance and a better life.

International Street Fair

Members of the Japanese Student Association of Ohio University perform a Japanese Pop song for the audience during the International Street Fair on April 20, 2013. The International Street Fair, held every year in the spring on Court Street, is one of the International Student Union's biggest events. 



Rufus raises his fist in the air, cheering on the crowd during the Yell Like Hell Pep Rally by Walter Hall. Despite the rain, many students and Alumni turned out for the pep rally.


Irvine Hall

Student protesters walk past Irvine Hall in their route around campus on Friday, March 4. Student organizations Defend Education Ohio and OU Young Democratic Socialists organized the protest against recent budget cuts affecting the Education department and faculty, along with raising tuition. 


Improv troupe graces OU

Sophomore Kat Abood (center), Senior Sarah Hess, and Junior Sam Stefanek of OU Improv perform a skit about batman wanting to be a dancer during "A Night of Musical Improv" in Baker Theatre on Saturday, February 26. OU Improv performed their usual improvised skits with helpful words or themes supplied the audience while singing their lines.
