Coming to you live from InfoCision Stadium this afternoon, where Ohio (3-1) begins Mid-American Conference play at Akron (1-4). The Bobcats had a bye week after defeating Austin Peay 38-0 Sept. 21. The Zips lost their first MAC game last Saturday, falling to Bowling Green 31-14.
FIRST QUARTER
*Akron fumbles the opening kickoff and recovers in the endzone, which results in a safety for Ohio.

*Akron sophomore kicker Robert Stein converts a 31-yard field goal. The score now stands Akron 3, Ohio 2 with 7:17 left in the first quarter.
Ohio redshirt senior Tyler Tettleton completes a 29-yard pass to redshirt senior tight end Anthony Talbert.
*Tettleton connects with redshirt senior wide receiver Donte Foster for a 13-yard touchdown pass with 3:03 remaining in the first quarter.
Tettleton's pass intercepted by senior cornerback Malachi Freeman. Akron takes over at their 37 yard line.
Akron 3, Ohio 9
At the end of the first quarter, Ohio leads Akron 9-3.
SECOND QUARTER
Tettleton's pass complete to Donte Foster for a 43 yard pass play. Bobcats now on the 25-yard line of the Zips.
Tettleton call his own number and scampers to the one-yard line of the Zips for an 11-yard run.
*Tettleton finds freshman tight end Troy Mangen in the endzone as Ohio takes a 16-3 lead with 7:40 remaining in the half.
Bobcats redshirt junior safety Thad Ingol picks off Akron sophomore quarterback Kyle Pohl. Ohio takes over from the Zips 18-yard line.
*Ohio redshirt senior running back Ryan Boykin scores on a yard run to pad Ohio's lead to 22-3 with 4:45 remaining in the first half.
*Ingol recovers an Akron fumble forced by redshirt junior safety Josh Kristoff and runs 18 yards into the endzone as the Bobcats now lead 30-3 with 3:50 remaining in the first half.
At the end of the first half, Ohio leads Akron 30-3.
THIRD QUARTER
* Ohio redshirt sophomore kicker Josiah Yazdani converts a 35-yard field goal. Ohio now leads 33-3.
