Ohio (4-1) welcomes Central Michigan (2-4) to Peden Stadium today at 2 p.m. on homecoming weekend. The Bobcats are coming off a 43-3 victory against Akron and are seeking their fifth consecutive win. Central Michigan defeated Miami 21-9 last weekend as the Chippewas seek their first Mid-American Conference victory.
FIRST QUARTER
*Ohio redshirt freshman kicker Josiah Yazdani converts on a 45-yard field goal to give Ohio an 3-0 lead with 4:18 remaining in the first quarter.
*Central Michigan redshirt freshman quarterback Cooper Rush finds senior tight end Connor Odykirk in the endzone as Central Michigan takes a 7-3 lead late in the first quarter.
*The Chippewa's pad their lead to 10-3 as redshirt freshman kicker Ron Coluzzi converts on a 27-yard field goal.
At the end of the first half, Central Michigan leads Ohio 10-3.
THIRD QUARTER
*Central Michigan kicker Ron Coluzzi is successful on a 36-yard field goal and the Chippewa's increase their lead to 13-3.
FOURTH QUARTER
*Chippewa's quarterback Ruh finds Saylor Lavalli for a seven yard touchdown as they take a 19-17 lead.
*Ohio redshirt senior running back Ryan Boykin runs in the end zone for a touchdown as Ohio now leads 23-19 with less than five minutes left in the game.
*Cenral Michigan takes the lead 26-23 with 22 seconds remaining in the contest after Rush finds Courtney Williams in the end zone.
