In regard to my previous letter, I may have been overzealous in calling the student behavior at the basketball game “shameful.”
I still do not like it, and I still do not intend to attend any more games because of it.
However, instead of being simply critical, I thought it might be better to offer up a suggestion.
Our campus is known for the creativity of the students. Certainly such a creative student body can come up with a better, more imaginative, and more original alternative to “you suck.”
An insult is still an insult, but at least you could take it to a different level.
