The incident reportedly occurred at around 5:30 p.m. while the woman was walking on a trail on the north side of The Ridges, according to an OUPD report.

The woman reported no serious injuries from the assault.

According to the report, the incident began when the man jogged past the woman and angrily confronted her about her dogs. He then threw a handful of loose rocks at the woman, who was carrying her infant in a chest carrier.

The suspect, described as a white male in his 50s wearing a white compression shirt and a black baseball cap, continued eastbound toward a water tower where the victim lost sight of him.

OUPD was unable to find the suspect despite searching the entire area around The Ridges until dark.

The incident is still being investigated by OUPD.
