Ohio travels to Indiana for the MAC Championships at a course they struggled at last fall.
At the 2015 Mid-American Conference Fall Preview, Ohio struggled at Purgatory Golf Club.
The Bobcats had eight individuals score rounds in the 80s, and between the five competitors, Ohio finished ninth in the MAC in October.
But that was the fall.
Now, Ohio will again travel to Noblesville, Indiana, for the 2016 MAC Championships and look to improve its performance at Purgatory Golf Club.
Hailey Hrynewich, Ohio's No. 1 golfer, shot a 231 over three rounds, 15 over par, at last spring's MAC Tournament and finished sixth.
In the fall, however, Hrynewich shot a 242, 26 over par, and struggled at the Purgatory Golf Club, shooting two of her three rounds in the 80s. She finished 48th.
She said Purgatory, which is a par-72 course with over 130 sand traps, is a course that isn't easy to navigate.
"There are so many (sand traps)," Hrynewich said. "They literally line the sides of the fairways. So I'm going to work on my tee shots to put them straight because I didn't do that in the fall."
Angela Codian, the No. 2 golfer for Ohio, finished tied for ninth place in the MAC Tournament last year.
She tied for 42nd at the fall preview, as she struggled at Purgatory. Codian shot a 238, 22 over par.
In the fall preview, Emily Hughes and Lily Pendy saw the most success at Purgatory, shooting a 234 and a 235, respectively, to lead the Bobcats.
Although shooting over 80 is rarely a positive, Hughes and Pendy only shot one round over 80 each in the fall.
Pendy's 81 came in the final round and proved costly to her positioning on the leaderboard.

She finished last spring's MAC Tournament in 21st place after recording a three-round score of 239.
The MAC Tournament is hosted by Eastern Michigan University and will begin Friday with an 8 a.m. start and will continue until Sunday's final round.
