Sarcastic Scoop: Nation angry at 'equality,' 'justice' for dividing up nation

People all around the nation are shocked and angry about the worrying trend of equality in the U.S. Steadily, over the years, marriage equality has been reached, racial justice measures are being pursued and women are fighting for equality with men, often succeeding.

“It’s sickening,” James Ruggin of Dallas, Texas, told reporters. “I’m tired of all these people dividing up our country with this and that and blah blah. We were better off when they just shut up and accepted their systematic oppression.”

Radio personalities, television hosts and columnists have also been commenting on the worrying trend of equality. Countless news stories about the oppressive nature of anti-religious freedom laws, such as the ones restricting denial of service based upon race or sexual orientation, have infuriated the masses.

“It’s the age of political correctness,” Derek Snyder of Phoenix, Arizona, said. “You just have to serve anyone who walks into your business without judgment. Well, that stands against my Christian values. If, for once, they’d just be happy with the racial and social inequality in this great nation, then we could all unite or whatever. But all they do is divide us up with their constant complaining.”

That viral “equality” concept has also frustrated countless people in the nation, because restless advocates for civil rights “always want more,” according to Barbara Smith of Salt Lake City, Utah.

“I’m not mad about it,” Smith said. “I’m just disappointed. They always want more. Like, women — we got the right to vote God knows how many years ago. Why do we need more than that? Maybe we shouldn’t even have that right, and go back to the good old days. Everything was easier back then.”

“PC culture is destroying America,” Nick Travis of Columbus, Ohio, told reporters. “It’s ridiculous. I’m in my second year of college and I took, like, a sociology class, and all the teacher did was whine about, like, oppression and stuff. It’s so annoying, holy s--t.”

Travis is currently writing a dissertation entitled “Feminism and Why it is Destroying Our Nation.”
