Sarcastic Scoop: Heartbreaking — girl only eats two of her four chicken nuggets

CINCINNATI — Hearts were broken as young Melanie Johnson only ate two of her four chicken nuggets this past Tuesday. Reports state she slowly ate one, then eventually ate the second, but then stopped there, not eating the third or the fourth — only two. Witnesses claim this was devastating to see, and many are confused on how to feel.

What was even more disturbing is the girl had gotten the smallest number of nuggets available, four, and had not even finished them. This controversial decision has set a fire in the hearts of many, considering getting the minimum amount of nuggets was already a mistake, but not finishing them is either simply sad or unforgivable.

“It was so sad to see,” Anne Rasmussen, a local, said. “I don’t know what happened to her to make her feel like she should only eat two of the four nuggets, but I hope she’s okay. That’s so few of the nuggets. It really was awful to watch.”

“Kids in Africa would want those nuggets,” Kristen Bora said, describing the traumatic event. “I bet she didn’t even take those nuggets and ship them to Africa, where they’re needed. I bet she … I bet she threw them away. I don’t want to say it, but I think that’s what she did. Or, worse, took them home and refrigerated them.”

A vigil will be held for the two uneaten chicken nuggets next Wednesday.
