Ohio added three more players to next year's team Wednesday, as guards Cece Hooks (Dayton, Ohio), De'Jae Denham (Columbus, Ohio) and Kaylee Bambule (Plainfield, Illinois) all finalized their commitments on early signing day.
Ohio will be losing four guards to graduation during the next two seasons, and coach Bob Boldon is planning ahead and adding potential replacements in volume. With the newest additions, Ohio will have seven guards with multiple years of eligibility left on the roster next season. The competition for playing time will be intense.
With starters Quiera Lampkins and Yamonie Jenkins leaving after this season, however, the new wave of Ohio guards will need to be tested.
