Sometimes, the best awards are ones you didn’t know existed.
Ohio University has been included by a list of the nation’s top friendliest and most affordable online colleges for LGBTQ individuals.
SR Education Group, an education research publisher, released the list.
“Our methodology considers Campus Pride Index scores and online degree offerings,” Taitum Ridgway, a SR Education Group representative, said in an email to The Post. “The Most Affordable LGBTQ-Friendly Online Colleges ranking takes it a step further, and includes only the top 25 most affordable schools, according to annual tuition rate.”
Ohio University ranked 12th on the “most affordable” list, which puts it above a lot of other schools. Ohio State’s main campus came in at 7th on the list.
