Gumbo, Jambalaya, Beignets: You know the drill.

Today is Fat Tuesday, and while the streets of Athens likely won’t flood with millions of people, the University Program Council is holding a Fat Tuesday event in Baker Center today.

UPC will be dishing out the aforementioned New Orleans-style treats for free to students. There will also be games and activities like mask painting and necklace giveaways.

The event will take place on the fifth floor of Baker from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
