This article has been updated to reflect the most recent reporting.

The Ohio University Police Department fielded its sixth report of rape for spring semester, according to the department’s weekend call log.

According to the report, an 18-year-old female reported unwanted sexual contact from a known acquaintance in Atkinson House on Friday at approximately 4:50 p.m. The case is currently under investigation.

The Athens Police Department also received a report of rape the same night, when a 19-year-old female reported she was allegedly raped by a known individual at about 11:15 p.m on the north end of Athens.

OUPD received a report on Feb. 22 that a woman had been raped in her room in Boyd Hall on Feb. 21. Earlier this month, the department fielded three reports of alleged rape within one week.
