The Athens Police Department fielded a report of rape Friday night.
A 19-year-old female reported that she was raped Friday at about 11:15 p.m. on the north end by a known person, according to an APD report.
No further information was provided in the report, and APD is investigating the incident.
The Ohio University Police Department received a report of rape Feb. 22, which was the department’s fifth of the semester.
An 18-year-old female reported she had been raped by a known subject in her room in Boyd Hall. The incident allegedly occurred Feb. 21 at about 11:30 p.m.
