Apple Stores to see long lines for new phone release

The iPhone X will be available for purchase Friday morning in Apple Stores, and people are already lining up outside to make sure they get the $999 device.

Apple released information late August about the iPhone, which unveiled an edge-to-edge screen and a 3D face-scanning camera.

Customers were able to pre-order the new device starting on October 27 but were sold out within minutes, according to Business Insider.

Those who ordered early were expected to receive their phones toward the end of November, but reports claim Apple shipped out the product earlier than the original estimated date.

According to Mac Rumors, customers in countries such as New Zealand and Australia are expected to receive their orders first.

Not everyone is guaranteed to have had their shipping times improved though.

I must be the only person in the world who’s delivery date for IPhone X hasn’t moved forward

Apple stores all over the world have begun to see lines form as early as Tuesday night.

It is expected that by the end of the day Friday, the iPhone X will be sold out and carrier stores will not have the devices in stock either, according to BGR

The iPhone X will officially go on sale at 8 a.m. at stores around the world.
