It's a girl! Kim Kardashian-West and her husband Kanye West welcomed their third child by surrogate on Tuesday. Kim announced the baby's arrival on her website with a post titled "She's here."
"Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl," Kim wrote. "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.
The reality TV star suffered from placenta accreta during her first two pregnancies and opted for a surrogate. The couple has two children — North, 4, and Saint, 2.
It is unclear who the surrogate was, but Kim revealed in a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that the process was difficult and she ended up picking someone close to her family that she trusted.
Kim's sister Khloe also recently revealed she is pregnant with boyfriend and Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson's baby. In fact, Khloe revealed her pregnancy to her family during this Sunday's episode of KUWTK. It is also speculated that sister Kylie Jenner is also pregnant, but no such rumor has been confirmed.
Kimye fans took to Twitter to congratulate the star and speculate about what the baby's name will be.
