City Council: Council to discuss participation in National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance

City Council members will discuss participating in the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (NCPA) and amendments for the Wellhead Protection Plan and Resources Extraction, and Waste Disposal Monitoring and Mitigation Program at Monday’s meeting.

An ordinance will be reviewed to authorize participation in the NCPA, a nationwide purchasing cooperative that works to reduce the cost of services and goods. The contract ensures that all public agencies receive the highest quality goods at the lowest prices.

Amendments for the Wellhead Protection Plan and Resource Extraction, and Waste Disposal Monitoring and Mitigation Program will be reviewed by the Committee of the Whole.

Council Member Peter Kotses will introduce the authorization to enter into a contract to lease or purchase Smart Parking Meters.

Members will also grant Cameron Fuller, owner of Devil’s Kettle Brewery, 97 Columbus Road, a revocable license to allow the existing concrete pad to encroach on the city right-of-way.

Sign regulations for Student Senate representatives, an enhanced access easement for Hope Drive and Bailey’s Trail System will also be discussed.
