The pesky “like” and “retweet” buttons that domineer popularity on Twitter will reportedly just be retweets soon.
Jack Dorsey, founder of Twitter, explained at an event last week that he would like to soon. In fact, he was never a fan of the heart-shaped button. At the WIRED25 Summit, Dorsey also showcased his dislike with the function.
“Is that the right thing? Versus contributing the the public conversation or a healthy conversation? How do we incentivise healthy conversation?” Dorsey said.
