On Wednesday afternoon, Executive Vice President and Provost Chaden Djalali announced the four finalists for Ohio University’s next Dean of Libraries.

There is a forum for the public, and OU students, faculty and staff members are invited to watch the livestreams and give feedback about the candidates. The forums will be held in the Friends of the Libraries room in Alden Library.

The first finalist is Neil Romanosky, who is the associate chief librarian for science research and information at the University of Toronto. This livestream is on Dec. 10 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:15 p.m.

The second finalist is Irene Herold, the librarian of the College of Wooster. This livestream is on Dec.11 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:15 p.m.

The third finalist is Stephanie Walker, the dean of libraries and information resources at the University of North Dakota. This livestream is on Dec. 13 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:15 p.m.

The fourth finalist is Scott Walter, the university librarian at DePaul University. This livestream is on Dec. 14 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:15 p.m.
