Coronavirus: Athens County passes 2,000 cases

The county has nearly 350 active cases.
The orders were sent after the university received reports claiming members “potentially compromised the health and safety of their respective members.”
The curfew will last 21 days.
Over 1,000 people who are in their 20s in Athens County have tested positive for COVID-19.
A decision about restaurants, bars and gyms will be made Nov. 19.
The university will have a color-coded alert system, like the state of Ohio’s.
There are now four total deaths from COVID-19 in Athens County.
These are the first deaths reported in the county since August.
The classroom will reopen Nov. 16 as long as no further COVID-19 cases are reported.
