Graduate Student Senate: Members approved to amend current constitution

Graduate Student Senate approved to amend the current GSS constitution at Tuesday’s meeting.

The agreement allows the senators to alter position duties and change the number of positions. This allows the GSS to fix issues that have occurred in the past and to run more efficiently.

GSS also appointed three new members. Mitchell Meyer was appointed as a representative for Athletic Training, and Linford Frimpong was appointed as a representative for Information and Telecommunications Systems, Andrea Michelle Padilla Herrera was also appointed as a member.

A resolution for the budget was also passed, costing about $750. The money will go toward the Women in Graduate School Day Conference, which will be held on Feb. 9.
