Chicago man infected with coronavirus recently visited Cleveland; here's what's coming and leaving Netflix in February

Today is Friday, Jan. 31, 2020. Here’s what you need to know:

Good morning,

On Jan. 30, 2020, the Ohio Department of Health announced that a Chicago man with coronavirus traveled to Cleveland, but was not infectious at the time. His wife contracted the coronavirus during a recent trip to Wuhan, China and transmitted the virus to her husband.

Public health officials urged the public not to panic as the immediate risk to Americans is low and further stated that these two were in close contact while the woman was infectious. This is the second interaction that Ohio has had with the virus in the last week as two Miami University students are awaiting the results on their tests for the highly-infectious virus.

With this being the sixth case in the U.S. and the first person-to-person infection, the CDC stated there will likely be more reports within the coming weeks. Symptoms can take 2 to 14 days to show, and infected people may not realize they have the virus.

Symptoms of the illness are very close to those of the average Flu. People may experience shortness of breath, a cough and a fever. Only those who have recently returned from China or know someone who has are currently the highest risk.
