Ohio ranks 6th on list of best states for singles; Ohio University revises its Climate Action Plan

Today is Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020. Here’s what you need to know:

Good morning, 

There are many things that can influence your chance of finding a romantic partner, and where you live is one of them. On a list of best states for singles, compared by WalletHub, Ohio ranks sixth.

The 50 states were compared by three key dimensions: romance and fun, dating economics and dating opportunities.

The amount of single adults, gender balance of singles and online dating opportunities were the top three factors that influenced dating opportunities. Dating economics were measured by average beer and wine price, average Starbucks latte price and movie costs. Romance and fun were measured by restaurants per capita and number of attractions. 

Florida was ranked first West Virginia was ranked the worst state to be single in.
