OU partners with OhioHealth to launch COVID-19 hotline

Ohio University announced a COVID-19 response hotline that goes live Monday for students, faculty and staff to receive information and report symptoms.

The hotline, which can be reached at 877-682-6819, is part of a partnership with OhioHealth and will operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.

OU students can call the hotline with questions, to access resources, to get notified of testing sites or to report a positive COVID-19 test, according to a university-wide email. If a student needs a provider order to take a COVID-19 test, those operating the hotline may also assist with the process.

OU faculty and staff can also call the hotline to get return-to-work assistance.

OU has also released an online COVID-19 incident report form where students and employees can submit reports of suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases. The reports will be used “to track cases on campus, notify relevant departments … and provide campus and community resources for those infected,” according to the report form.
