Krispy Kreme will give you a free doughnut with proof of vaccination; OU resumes campus tours with COVID-19 guidelines

Today is Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Here’s what you need to know.

Good morning,

All year long, Krispy Kreme is offering a sweet deal: a free original glazed doughnut every time you present your vaccination card. The deal starts Monday at participating locations nationwide. This is more than a one-time offer; individuals can go every day and get a free sweet treat through the end of 2021.

Any guests who have received at least one of the two shots of Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or one shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine qualify, according to Krispy Kreme. A vaccine sticker is not valid; you must show your vaccination card.

A press release by Krispy Kreme stated in the upcoming weeks they will deliver free doughnuts to vaccination centers to support healthcare workers and volunteers. They are also giving employees paid time off, up to four hours, to get their vaccine.
