Today is Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Here’s what you need to know:
Last year, the pandemic put a hold on Marvel movies and TV shows.
However, fans will not have to wait for new content any longer. Marvel hero, Shang-chi will be taking the screen this fall in the movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The first trailer was released April 19 and is one of many Marvel films to come this year. The movie will star actor Simu Liu as the lead, Shang-Chi. Fun fact, the new trailer was released on Liu’s birthday.
The plot is centered around Shang-Chi being raised to be his father’s, Wenwu, apprentice. Wenwu is the head of a villain organization called the Ten Rings. Shang-Chi walked away from his father ten years ago, and that is where the film starts off.
