Ohio will play its first home series since the end of March when Mid-American Conference opponent Bowling Green visits Athens this weekend. The Bobcats (12-13, 8-8 MAC) fell below .500 after going 3-5 in a road series against Kent State and Toledo the previous two weekends. The Falcons are Ohio’s opportunity to get back on track.

First pitch: 3 p.m. (Friday), 1 p.m. (Saturday game one), 3 p.m. (Saturday game two), Noon (Sunday)

11 Payton Gottshall (10-5, 1.56 ERA, 94.1 IP)

The Bobcats were supposed to play two games against the Falcons in 2020, but the series was canceled due to COVID-19. Instead, the last time these two teams played was in March 2019, when Ohio swept Bowling Green thanks to three great offensive performances, including an 8-7 eight-inning victory won by a walk-off double RBI from Morgan Geno.
