Athens Football: Athens looks to bounce back as it heads to play Logan

Athens didn’t get the outcome it was looking for against conference opponent Vinton County last week. The Bulldogs came out strong with a kickoff touchdown return to start things off, but they got outscored in the second half and ended with a 50-21 loss.

Athens will play at Logan in its last nonconference game this season on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to get off to a good start and be on their A-game throughout this matchup.

Logan has yet to win a game this season, and most of its losses have been by a large score margin. It will be up to Athens to come ready to compete with its young talent and be able to finish any big plays it starts.
