Ohio University Basketball faces Mount St. Mary's in the convo on Nov. 22, 2021

Men's Basketball: St. Francis scouting report and how to watch

Ohio’s taken another loss on the chin. After winning back-to-back games at home, Ohio was humbled by LSU on the road.

But the Bobcats (5-2) are looking to build off that loss. They return to The Convo on Saturday for a game against St. Francis as their nonconference schedule enters its final month. Coach Jeff Boals said the Bobcats still have room to improve, and that St. Francis will provide a necessary challenge.

“It’s a veteran group,“ Boals said. “One thing they do so well, they put so much pressure on you offensively. They’ve got multiple guys who can get downhill and drive the basketball and they got a couple bigs that are really good inside. They rebound the ball well, a couple shooters in the wing. So it’s gonna be a tough challenge for us.”

Here’s what you need to know about St. Francis ahead of Saturday’s matchup:

Player to watch

Dixon-Conover — The redshirt senior has only played in five games for the Red Flash this season after missing a game against Cornell, but he’s nonetheless been the most productive player on the roster. Dixon-Conover leads the Red Flash in points, steals and assists per game, and is third on the team for rebounding.
