The Ohio University Police Department released a crime alert Thursday evening regarding an incident of sexual imposition in MemAud.
An unnamed female survivor reported the crime to OUPD on Wednesday evening after she was followed and grabbed inappropriately by an unknown man in the lobby of the auditorium. The suspect is described in the alert as being a tall, middle-aged white man with salt and pepper hair. The survivor also reported the suspect was balding and possibly very tan. He was wearing a zip-up jacket at the time the crime was committed, according to OUPD.
Officers searched for the suspect but were unable to locate him. The incident is still under investigation.
