The Ohio University Police Department released a crime alert Monday for sexual battery that reportedly occurred Saturday morning, between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., at Mackinnon Hall, located on South Green.
According to the alert, the female survivor reported that a sexual battery occurred after the male suspect walked her home from Uptown. The suspect walked the student to her room, where she reported sexual intercourse without her consent occurred.
The suspect is a white male with brown hair and is approximately 5’8” to 5’10” tall, according to the alert. He is of average to muscular build and was wearing a black Nike hat, a navy blue Calvin Klein t-shirt and black shorts.
OUPD asks those with pertinent information to report the information to the department at 740-593-1911.
