The Mid-American Conference announced its softball postseason awards on Wednesday, and six Bobcats were named to All-MAC teams. Additionally, Ohio Coach Jenna Hall was named MAC coach of the year.
Annalia Paoli, Yasmine Logan and Skipp Miller were named to the All-MAC first team. The Bobcats' three All-MAC first-team inclusions were the second most in the conference, behind Miami.
Miller finished the regular season with the third-best ERA of any MAC pitcher (2.59) and the third-most innings pitched (178.2).
Logan and Paoli both ranked in the top 10 in home runs (Paoli had the seventh-most home runs while Logan had tied for the eighth-most home runs), and both players finished in the top 15 in OPS (Logan finished eighth, Paoli finished 14th).
Tori O'Brien and Alexis Dawe were named to the All-MAC second team. Dawe and O'Brien both had batting averages in the top 25 in the MAC (Dawe tied for 14th-highest batting average, O'Brien 22nd-highest batting average).
Additionally, Belle Hummel and Miller were named to the All-Freshman team.
Hummel finished in a tie for the 11th-most hits in the Conference with 49.
As a team, Ohio increased its win total from 23 wins in 2022 to 30 in 2023, first-year Coach Jenna Hall was awarded MAC Coach of the Year for her contributions to the team's improvement.
